God is awesome!!!! Sometimes we go through trials that are so difficult we aren't sure we can make it.... But God Is Able..... That is the focus of this blog....to let you know that God Is Able!!!! What is it that you need? What is it that you want? What is your heart's desire? Psalms 37:4 tells us that God will give us the desires of our heart "IF" we delight ourselves in Him!! Don't be shy. God wants to meet your every need and desire. Trust in Him and He will bring it to pass!!!!

It is a great day to serve our God! This is the time of year when we celebrate the resurrection of our Lord. There is no better way to celebrate than to be in "God's House" on Easter Sunday. We will have music that glorifies Him and a message that will inspire and enlighten you. You don't want to be left out. Hold on tight! Lots of things are happening in our world. Sometimes you can get confused. Everything seems to be changing. Everyone is worried about tomorrow. I have the answer, His name is Jesus. If you will get under His government, He has promised to take care of you. He has the best government assistance program to ever exist. He promised to supply all of your needs according to His riches in glory. I'm glad because our God is rich. He's got more than enough to take care of us all. Trust in Him today, God bless.

A New Song

Everyone has a favorite song. Many of those are from the best times of our lives. You can tell what generation a person came from by the music they love the most. Some love the old hymns and some love the simple choruses from the 70's. Whatever your favorite may be, it's time to sing a new song to the Lord. Find a part of your life where God is moving and glorify Him with a fresh praise. I thank Him for what He has done in our past, but lets look toward our future for He has great things in store for us!

Trust The Lord!

Trusting God isn't always easy. We like to see where we are going. We like to taste what we eat. We love to hear the voice of the person that is special to us. All of these things are provided in our relationship with God. With Him, we have vision to see our lives from his prospective. Like David, we can taste and see that the Lord is good. And in the process, we have the opportunity to hear the voice of the one we love most of all. So trust in the Lord with all of your heart, seek him diligently, and you will find that He's better than you ever dreamed. Have a great New Year, and check out my podcast this week on this topic.

Thanksgiving Recovery

Well it's time to go on that diet now! Ha! We better work fast so we can eat everything for Christmas. Can you see that we are all in a hurry? Life seems crazy sometimes so, keep it in perspective. Here is one perspective. Most of the things we spend so much time worrying about don't matter. What really matters is eternity. How are you preparing for it? Take time to concern yourself with what is most important.

We had a Great Day yesterday on Appreciation Sunday! We had a wonderful crowd. There were a lot of familiar faces and many new ones. The food was delicious and plentiful. The music was fun and joyful. The grown ups were enjoying the fellowship while the children were busy playing. The weather was absolutely perfect. It was a day designed by our Lord to bless us as His children. Thank you for being here with us. It was simply our way of saying thank you for your genuine love and support for the past year. Great times are ahead for us. This really is the beginning of "A New Season".

Appreciation Sunday

We want you to know how much we appreciate your kindness to us. We have been the pastors of "God's House" for over ten years. The progress we have made as a church has been immeasurable. Tough times require tough people. Toughness is determined by how much you can "stand". The word tells us in Eph. 6 to "stand therefore"! So keep on standing. I know that God is faithful to help those that keep on fighting for the "Kingdom of God"! Don't give up. God is with us! Watch and see what "The Most High" will do on our behalf. What a Great Day! Thank you for the tremendous show of support. It was wonderful to see the church filled with people who truly love Jesus with all of their hearts. So many of you met Polly, myself, and my sons at the end of the service today. Your words of encouragement mean so much to us. We love you so much, and We appreciate every one of you for being strong in these past months. We are so excited about what God has done and what we know He's going to do! God is Moving!

I tell you what, Polly and I are so excited. God is really blessing us and using us more and more. Last week we were on TBN. We were able to share some of our testimony with the viewing audience. After the show, prayer request started to pour in from people who have been struggling and needing help. We are praying for those people and can't wait to hear some of their praise reports! God is pouring out his spirit. We had a great service today at God's House! I can't wait to get back next week because God is doing a new thing. Hope to see you there!

P.S. There is only going to be one 10:30-am service next week at God's House.

A New Beginning

We are so glad to be back! The songs today were a reflection of our hearts. Jesus truly is "The Lighthouse". The key to victorious living is keeping your eyes on Him. We are "Going Through" the tough times and into the season of blessing. I've heard it said,"if your going through hell, don't stop, keep going!" That is a great motto. That is the message of hope that we received today. Don't ever give up. Your miracle is just ahead of you.

Partnership

We had a Great week! People were ministered to and blessed. We learned that together we can do much more than we can do alone. Polly's song was so inspirational. "He is here" is a message that we all need to remember. Jesus said "I will never leave you nor forsake you". Be encouraged today because He is with you to make certain you succeed in all that you do. He loves you so much. Take a moment and read God's word for today. It refers to David in the cave at Adullam. He was alone, discouraged, and running for his life. In those circumstances, God brought to him people who were in debt, discontent, or in distress (I Sam. 22:2). The Church is to be the place of refuge for the hurting. I love the phrase God spoke to me riding in the car a year ago, "Hurting People Need a Healing Jesus". We surely do.
